Should More Gun Control Laws Be Enacted?

                                  What is Gun Control?

What truly is Gun control? Is it controlling who gets one or is it controlling the people who are allowed to have them and are restricted on how to use them? In America guns are a pretty big things but to many the question they debate the most on is Should we have one, would we be safer with one or with out one? Guns are being mentioned in cartoons from time to time, to now seeing them on strangers hips while walking through a simple place such as a mall. Today, not only are police the only ones that are allowed to have a piece of metal strapped to their waist but now everyday citizens. Being apart of our second amendment we are given the right to bear arms and have a concealed weapon with first with the age being 21 and there being a criminal background check. Thankfully. Although, over the years gun control resulted in creating regulations to protect America's public today. Fortunately, Like all things there are rules that keep them from being something even more dangerous. Like football you can’t openly punch an opponent in the face to get the ball, soccer you can’t tackle for reasons that you go against what it truly stands for. Sadly, a series of unfortunate accidents have to happen in order to for someone to change how something is used. In 2005 The Child Safety Lock Act passed through thankfully by President George Bush. This Act has saved many young lives,  The Child Safety Lock Act requires that any sold handgun come with some kind of storage case or safety device keeping it out of reach from children and young adults. There are many rules and regulations when it comes to actually purchasing a gun. Although, What is the process of purchasing a gun? According to Bob Arthur , many gun sales men there is a process that an individual must complete in order to enjoy our luxurious right of conceal and carry. Involving a background check and a small waiting period before the weapon is official in the buyer's possession.
